In this high-energy in-person class, young performers will take their first steps into the world of movement and dance for musical theatre. Students will develop body awareness and coordination through movement and basic dance exploration. The class will focus on enhancing physicality and confident movement on stage. Students will be taken through various exercises that will help them become more self-aware and understand storytelling through movement. They will also learn basic choreography set to tracks from selected musical theatre songs to help them put their skills to work. Great for students who love singing along to their favorite musicals as well as those who are looking to further develop their movement skills as an actor.
