Come meet the Casting Director, Jen Katz, with Carlyn Davis Casting! During this event Jen Katz will discuss her role as a local DMV casting director and the process behind bringing all of the pieces together for the various projects Carlyn Davis Casting works on. There will be a Q&A at the end if time allows.
Jen Katz, C.S.A (She/Her/Hers) has been with Carlyn Davis Casting since April 2013. She has worked on various commercials including Amtrak, Comcast, Xfinity, and Volkswagen. She is heavily involved in local theatre both on and off stage, often working on several projects at once. She is currently on the board of Silver Spring Stage. Jen graduated with a BA in English from Florida State University and a Master's in English Language and Literature from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Management and Leadership. In December of 2022 she became a member of the Casting Society of America.
