The full extent of my production work as an artist includes light design, set design, set building, fabric making, promoting shows, tour management, video production, costume design, prop design, puppeteering, performing, play-writing, and artistic direction. I eat, breathe and live production and creativity and am open to working in any department, though currently I am most proficient at light design and tech, set design, performance, and directing.
I am new to the DMV network and am looking to build my resume more in this area. Originally, I am from the twin cities, Minnesota where I trained 6 years as a performer and director focusing primarily on view points, devised work, neutral mask, and dance. After my training I continued produce, manage and perform two national tours in 2019 with JUUNNI, and have been working in theaters and music venues as a lighting technician. In my own time have been writing and performing plays and albums that feature special effect sets I have built out of trash and found material.
Long term I hope to bring story telling into pop-music space and would like to run my own production company. I want to focus on telling riveting stories that tap into mind, bodies, and hearts of an audience, and hope to create special effects and illusions that make the audience cry in disbelief at what is unfolding before there eyes.
