Avant Bard Theatre

Founded in 1990 under the name Washington Shakespeare Company, Avant Bard Theatre offers Arlington and the greater Washington-area community artistically excellent theatrical works, both time-tested and contemporary, with an innovative approach and in an intimate setting. Avant Bard is committed to artistic excellence, collaboration, developing talent, and actively engaging in social outreach, which includes projects aimed at strengthening the Arlington community via the performing arts.
