Theatre Description
The Landless Theatre Company is a nonprofit theatre company dedicated to cultivating new and diverse audiences for live theatre. Landless has been producing in DC since 2003 in various venues, including DCAC, Atlas Theatre, Warehouse Theatre, H Street Playhouse, and GALA. The company was nominated for three 2015 Helen Hayes awards for its production of SWEENEY TODD [PROG METAL VERSION], the first and only heavy metal orchestration of the show, which was personally reviewed and approved by Stephen Sondheim. The company has also staged theatrical collaborations with Emmy Winner Richard Hartley, Tony Winner Rupert Holmes, Monty Python, the Whedon brothers, and Matt Stone and Trey Parker.
