Homeless Garden - An Open Filming

For Avant Bard’s next project, we take a break from theater production and make our first feature film: an open study of issues in Homeless Garden, a play by Matt Minnicino. Homeless Garden itself references The Cherry Orchard, so attendees at any night of filming will be treated not just to a peek into the filming process, but also a multi-layered, curated (and filmed!) conversation about what land ownership means for individuals and for arts companies in a country staggering under issues of generational wealth, colonialism, environmental decay, and limited financial resources.
